I (heart) Driving

Around 9:30 last night, I returned from my 4th trip to Lanett in the last 2 weeks and my 2nd in 2 days. I hate that place. And it's not over yet. There has been outbreaks of strong to severe weather on my return trip each of these 4 times. No exaggeration. Driving 20 mph in zero visibility is no fun. Especially 4 times. It's a 4 hour drive both ways. I go and come back in one day. I've averaged leaving at 5 am and getting home around 10 pm. 32 hours of driving just back and forth to Lanett in 14 days. that doesn't count 1-2 trips to Huntsville and numerous trips from Lanett to Lowe's in Opelika. Happy, happy. Joy, joy.

Glen Phillips has some new music. It's an EP titled "Secrets of the New Explorers." It's good stuff. Different, but good. It's streaming on his website. There's also one song you can download free. Free is good.

I had more to add, but work has interfered so many times I've forgotten the rest. So you get more griping and complaining. Sorry. I'll try to do a more extensive, more positive post soon.
