Air dates for Colbert in the Shoals

Looks like the segments taped in Tuscumbia for "The Colbert Report" will air later this month. I wish I'd been able to get over there for that.

Local show set Nov. 27

TUSCUMBIA -- Producers of the Comedy Central news-program parody, "The Colbert Report," say the production that was taped recently in Tuscumbia likely will air in segments Nov. 27-30.

A crew from the show spent two days in Tuscumbia a little over a month ago to tape the segments.

The tapings are based on the premise that the show's host, Stephen Colbert, believes Colbert County was named after him so he decides to open a museum in Tuscumbia in his honor.
