Comedy show crews due in Shoals on Wednesday
TUSCUMBIA -- Mayor Bill Shoemaker said during Monday's city council meeting that the grand opening of the "Stephen Colbert Museum and Gift Shop" will be around 3 p.m. Wednesday at 116 S. Main St.

"They want as big a crowd as they can get to open the museum honoring Stephen Colbert and his appreciation to the county for naming itself for him," Shoemaker said.

"Anybody who wants to get on TV, this is your chance to show up."

"The next day, they'll take down the banners and it'll be closed for lack of interest," he said.



Who knew Tuscumbia had a sense of humor!?!
