Well, I saw the link on FB and clicked over. I was never as regular as you, but haven't written regularly on clericeric.com in *ages*. FB has occupied my time and most of my need to self disclose. I guess when my email changed I quit getting updates about S'sTs. Sorry to say I missing talking to you more than reading you. You've got a lot of time/life invested here. Is writing/posting still therapeutic?

ReplyDeleteRecently I've attempted writing a blog, and quickly gained a lot of respect for people that can keep up with putting out new stuff. In the time I've been following your blog you've gone from being frustrating with your job, using the blog as a creative outlet (always like reading your Braves analysis) to a complete life change, you know, becoming a pastor and all that. I can't even imagine going back to school at our age! When your days go from bored at work, to needing more hours in the day just to get things done, something's got to give. I'm just trying to keep up with a job and 2 kids and I've had trouble reading people's blogs (including yours, I'm sorry to say), much less writing anything. It's all about what you get out of it. I'd hate to see you shut it down, but honestly, if you don't like doing it anymore (seeing it as something you have to do, rather than something you look forward to doing), you definitely shouldn't give up any precious time to it. For the record, if you keeping posting stuff, I'll keep reading it.
