175. I'm liking Edgemont more and more. I posted a couple of weeks ago that I was torn about the new church starting in Florence later this year. I'm not so much anymore. I'm really starting to feel at home at Edgemont.

Tomorrow is the day enjoyed only by girls & women who are dating someone or married (or possibly both). I don't know many men who like Valentine's Day. First of all, most men hate buying gifts! It takes time. It takes money. It takes thought and interpretation and intuition. News flash, MEN ARE NOT INTUITIVE!!! Spending hour upon hour trying to pick out just the right card, gift, and flowers is not fun. Trying to decide on the perfect setting for a romantic Valentine's dinner (along with everyone else in the 3 state area) is not the easiest of tasks. And don't bother asking. World War II code-breakers cracked ENIGMA with less effort than it takes to figure out women. No wonder Wal-Mart's flower aisle is as over-run as Everybody Loves Raymond. It's easy. It takes little thought. Walk in, grab flowers, grab a card (don't read it) and check-out. Wait, are they still having that sale on beer? There's your romantic setting! And those are just the men who have girlfriends or spouses to please. The saddest part of tomorrow is the guys out there wishing they had someone holding Holiday hoops for them to jump through.

Happy Freaking Valentine's Day!
