Those of you in the North Alabama area have probably heard, seen, or read about the teacher who was beaten to death and robbed in Moulton. She was our neighbor. She lived two doors down from us. It came as a bit of a shock to the street. Misty and I just learned Sunday that she was our neighbor. Today I found out she was also the mother of a guy I was friends with in Jr. High and High School. What a terrible tragedy. What a crazy world. This whole thing has made me realize that I'm not a very good neighbor. I didn't know her at all. I knew her name was Judy and that she was a teacher. Maybe I'm just too private...
